Job summary

Didcot, Oxfordshire-based engineering and manufacturing business is seeking an experienced TIG Welder/Fabricator to join their production team. This permanent role offers stability and development in a modern manufacturing environment.

You will perform TIG welding to high standards, read engineering drawings, and fabricate components while maintaining quality and safety. Overtime and ongoing training are available, with clear progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous TIG welding experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Experience with a range of fabrication techniques.
• Experience working in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic; willing to learn new processes.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out TIG welding to a high standard.
• Supporting MIG welding activities where required.
• Fabricating, assembling and finishing precision engineered components.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and WPS.
• Maintaining and working towards welding qualifications and coded welding standards.
• Operating overhead cranes and production equipment (training available).
• Working with production, engineering and support teams to ensure safety and quality.
