Job summary

Corr Recruitment Ltd is seeking a skilled TIG welder/fabricator to join our team in the UK. The role requires welding aluminium and stainless to exact specs, with food-grade welding experience essential. You will read blueprints and weld in all positions, with on-site tests to verify readiness.

Candidate should have a minimum of 3 years in a weld shop and at least 2 years TIG welding experience, with willingness to work off-site as needed. MIG on carbon steel is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read blueprints/schematics with accuracy.
• Must have at least 3 years weld shop experience and 2 years TIG welding.
• Must be able to pass an on-site weld test.
• Experience welding aluminium and stainless is required.
• Welding in all positions and reading welding procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Fit and assemble welded and non-welded components into assemblies.
• Weld aluminium and stainless to specification; MIG weld carbon steel is a plus.
• Read and follow blueprints and welding programs.
• Maintain WPQR records when required.
• Work on off-site projects as needed.

Responsibilities for TIG welder

• Fit and assemble welded and non-welded component parts into a complete assembly
• Food grade welding experience a must
• Must be able to read blueprints/ schematics
• Must be able to weld in all positions
• Must be able to pass on-site weld test
• Tig weld on Aluminium, and Stainless required
• Mig weld on carbon steel is preferred as well
• Understanding welding procedures and programs will be a plus
• Understanding weld mapping procedures and programs will be a plus
• Ability to keep Good Welding Procedure Qualification Records (WPQR) will be a plus

Qualifications for TIG welder

• Must be comfortable reading and interpreting blueprints
• Must be comfortable doing custom work
• Must be willing to work off site as and when required
• MUST HAVE AT LEAST 3 YEARS MINIMUM OF WELD SHOP EXPERIENCE
• MUST HAVE AT LEAST 2 YEARS MINIMUM OF TIG WELDING EXPERIENCE
