Job description

In our busy and diverse welding department, you’ll work on a wide range of light-gauge, high-tolerance, and aesthetic metal products. From intricate, precision components to high-quality finishes, your role will be at the heart of our production process.

Hours: Full-time

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• TIG Welding: Deliver high-quality welds on light-gauge materials while maintaining exceptional standards.
• Fabrication & Assembly: Work from engineering drawings to create and assemble components.
• Finishing Excellence: Dress, fettle, and finish welded parts to meet exact specifications using power and hand tools.
• Quality Inspections: Ensure every piece meets our strict quality standards.
• Team Collaboration: Work with colleagues to optimise processes and improve productivity.
• Safety & Organisation: Maintain a clean and safe workspace, adhering to safety protocols.

Requirements

• Proven experience in TIG welding, with MIG experience a bonus.
• A strong background in sheet metal fabrication.
• The ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding symbols with precision.
• Familiarity with power tools and safe working practices.
• Basic computer literacy for accessing work instructions and completing checklists.

You’ll need to pass a weld test at the interview stage to demonstrate your skills and precision.
