Job description

Role: TIG Welder and Fabricator

Location: Diss, Norfolk

Working hours: Monday to Friday - Full time hours

Pay Rate: Paying up to £19.00 per hour

Capacity of role: Temporary to Permanent position

Our client is a leading manufacturer who is looking to add to their workshop with another welder and fabricator.

Main duties will include:

  1. Being proficient in TIG welding techniques and capable of welding working on aluminium.
  2. Knowledge of basic fabrication techniques, including cutting, bending, and shaping metal.
  3. Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  4. Work with tight tolerances and ensure precise dimensions in fabricated parts.
  5. Adhere to safety regulations and procedures while operating machinery and tools.
  6. Ability to identify and resolve issues that may arise during fabrication.
  7. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

Candidate attributes:

  • Previous TIG welding experience
  • Being a confident fabricator
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work on a multitude of roles at any one point
  • Driving licence is required due to the location of the premises.
