Job summary

Orion Electrotech Ltd in Farnborough is seeking a skilled TIG Welder to join our manufacturing team on a permanent, full-time basis (38 hours per week). The role focuses on TIG welding with aluminium to tight tolerances and reading engineering drawings to ISO quality standards.

Qualifications

• TIG welding experience
• Ability to weld Aluminium and thin gauge materials
• Read and interpret engineering drawings
• Demonstrate high attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Proactive and open to cross-training
• Commitment to health, safety and continuous improvement

Responsibilities

• Mainly TIG Welding with Aluminium to tight tolerances
• Working with thin gauge metal
• Fabrication experience of complex builds
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and ISO quality standards
• Perform TIG welding to a high standard
• Mark out parts accurately
