Job summary

EMBS Engineering is recruiting a skilled TIG Welder with pipe experience to join a precision engineering company in Nottinghamshire on a permanent basis. The role involves TIG and FCAW welding on exotic materials, following drawings and weld maps to exacting standards.

You should have at least 3 years of TIG/FCAW experience, be capable with small bore pipe welding, and ideally hold 6G certification. UK residency is required; DBS checks apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years TIG / FCAW welding experience.
• Small bore pipe welding is essential for this role.
• Familiar with welding procedure specifications and weld maps.
• Experience with exotic materials (e.g., 316, duplex, Inconel) is beneficial.
• 6G certificates would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• TIG / FCAW welding of exotic materials on small to medium parts.
• Follow engineering drawings and weld maps to spec.
• Support fabrication and plating of parts as required.

EMBS Engineering is currently recruiting for a skilled TIG Welder with Pipe experience to join a precision engineering company located in Nottinghamshire, working on a permanent basis.

Due to the nature of the markets our client supplies into, all candidates must be UK residents, and DBS checks will be required. Please note we cannot offer visa sponsorship for overseas candidates.

Your responsibilities include

• TIG / FCAW Welding of exotic materials such as 316, Super Duplex, Inconel etc
• Small Bore Pipe Welding is essential for this role
• 6G Certificates would be beneficial
• Following engineering drawings/weld maps

Successful applicants MUST be able to demonstrate

• Minimum of 3 years TIG / FCAW Welding
• Small Bore Pipe Welding is essential for this role
• Following welding procedure specifications and weld maps
• Fabrication and Plating of medium to heavy duty parts
• Experience working on small to medium-sized parts within the Nuclear, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Sub Sea or Power industries
• Worked with exotic alloys including Inconel, super duplex, duplex, carbon steel, etc.

Please note: All successful candidates asked forward for an interview will be required to perform a 6G Small Bore TIG weld test.
