Job description

We are looking to recruit an experienced TIG Welder for our valued client on a permanent contract.

Position: TIG Welder

Pay: £16.00 per hour

Hours: 39.0 hrs per week

Start Date: March 15

Responsibilities:

1. TIG Welding
2. Working with various metals including mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium, and other non-ferrous metals
3. Reliable, hardworking, accurate, with attention to detail
4. Ability to work under minimal supervision and hit the ground running
5. Good knowledge of manufacturing processes and health & safety standards
6. Effective communication skills

Personal Skills / Qualifications:

1. CSCS or other skills cards (desirable)
2. Coded welder certification
3. Experience with stainless steel purged pipework
4. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
5. Additional desirable skills include abrasive wheels training, forklift truck license, and First Aid certification

Working hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 07:30 - 16:30
• Friday: 07:30 - 15:30
