TIG Welder

We are currently seeking an experienced TIG Welder to join our client’s team in Stoke-on-Trent. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality TIG welding on a variety of materials and components, ensuring that all work meets industry and company standards.

Key Responsibilities of this TIG Welder role:

Perform TIG welding on stainless steel, mild steel, and/or aluminium components.

Interpret and work from engineering drawings and specifications.

Inspect welded joints to ensure high-quality standards are maintained.

Carry out pre-weld preparation and post-weld clean-up.

Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.

Maintain a clean and organised working environment.

Work as part of a team to meet production targets and deadlines.

Skills and Experience Required for this TIG Welder role:

Proven experience in TIG welding within a manufacturing or engineering environment.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

Strong attention to detail and quality control.

Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Understanding of health and safety practices in a workshop setting.

Ideally, NVQ or City & Guilds in Welding or equivalent (preferred but not essential).

Location: Stoke-on-Trent
Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday: 08:00 – 17:15

Friday: 08:00 – 13:00

Hourly rate of pay - £13.50ph DOE
