The successful candidate will be responsible for welding light steel and aluminum fabrications while ensuring high-quality standards. Candidates should possess a minimum of 2 years of experience, relevant welding certifications, and the ability to read engineering drawings.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years TIG welding experience.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Relevant certification in accordance with 9606-1 & 9606-2 required.

Responsibilities

• Weld light steel and aluminum fabrications using TIG welding.
• Inspect raw materials and finished products for compliance.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Pay: £14.98 - £15.84 per hour (potentially more depending on experience)

Skills & Responsibilities
. Weld light steel and aluminum fabrications using TIG welding, working with materials ranging from 3mm to 12mm in thickness.
. Ensure high-quality standards by inspecting raw materials and finished products for compliance with safety and company guidelines.
. Perform tasks independently with minimal supervision, ensuring adherence to required standards.
. Self-inspect welding activities within defined parameters before submitting for final inspection.
. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, ensuring equipment is hazard-free and properly inspected before use.
Attributes & Qualities
. Minimum of 2 years of TIG welding experience.
. Ability to read and work from engineering drawings is essential.
. Relevant welder certification in accordance with 9606-1 & 9606-2.
. NVQ Level qualification is an advantage.
. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
