Our client, a well-established engineering firm based in Knowsley, renowned for delivering high-quality fabrication and precision engineering solutions across a range of sectors, is expanding their team and looking for a skilled TIG Welder to join their growing operation.

The Role:

Ambitek is seeking an experienced and motivated TIG Welder to carry out high-quality welding and fabrication work in our modern workshop. You will work on a variety of bespoke and production projects, ensuring all work meets strict quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Perform TIG welding on stainless steel, aluminium, and mild steel components
  2. Read and interpret technical drawings and fabrication blueprints
  3. Carry out precise welding work with a strong attention to detail
  4. Inspect and test completed welds to ensure structural soundness and quality
  5. Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
  6. Work both independently and as part of a team to meet production targets and deadlines
Requirements:
  1. Proven experience as a TIG Welder in a fabrication or engineering environment
  2. Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
  3. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  4. Relevant welding certifications (preferred but not essential)
  5. Good time management and communication skills
