Overview

TIG Welder – Location: Basingstoke | Salary: £35,000 - £38,000 | Hours: Mon – Fri, 8:00am – 4:30pm | Driving licence required

Syntech Recruitment are currently recruiting for a leading engineering business in Basingstoke and we require multiple TIG Welder/Fabricators. This role offers a dynamic mix of welding, fabrication, and occasional UK-wide site work, perfect for engineers who enjoy variety, ownership, and technical challenge.

Responsibilities

• TIG welding stainless steel and mild steel components
• Occasional MIG welding (an advantage)
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings
• Assembling parts and fabricating custom equipment for the food industry

Requirements

• TIG welding experience is essential
• MIG welding and fabrication experience is a strong plus
• Mechanical fitting skills – including assembly, troubleshooting, and repairs
• Electrical understanding (advantageous but not essential)
• A full UK driving licence
• Good level of IT skills – MS Word, Excel, Outlook
