Qualifications

• Experience in TIG welding aluminium from 1.5mm to 6mm is essential.
• Ability to operate saws for cutting and fabricating.
• Competence to maintain a tidy and safe workspace.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality welded products from CAD drawings.
• Maintain a high standard of quality control.
• Change gas bottles and torch accessories as needed.

About the role:

The role of a TIG welder and fabricator involves consistently producing high-quality welded products from CAD drawings or batch production, and competently using saws and hand power tools.

Duties of a TIG Welder include:

1. Competently TIG weld aluminium from 1.5mm to 6mm; experience is essential.
2. Read and produce work from CAD drawings; essential.
3. Operate a foot pedal; preferred.
4. Use saws to cut and fabricate; previous experience is ideal.
5. Maintain a high standard of self-quality control to ensure all products are welded to the highest standards.
6. Change gas bottles and torch accessories as needed.
