Job Title: TIG Welder
Location: Eastleigh
Salary: £16.65 per hour PAYE / £22 per hour umbrella
Job Type: Full-Time, Contract

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fabricator/Welder to perform a wide range of welding and fabrication tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metalwork, an eye for detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. You will be responsible for reading and interpreting technical drawings, setting up welding equipment, and ensuring all work meets the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities of the TIG Welder:

1. Fabrication: Interpret and work from technical drawings and blueprints to fabricate metal components, structures, and assemblies.
2. Welding: Perform TIG welding on various metals, ensuring strong, accurate welds.
3. Assembly: Assemble fabricated parts using hand and power tools, ensuring precise alignment and fit.
4. Inspection: Conduct quality checks on completed welds and fabrications, making adjustments as necessary.

The successful Fabricator Welder will ideally have the below experience:

1. Proven experience as a Fabricator/Welder in a manufacturing or construction environment.
2. Proficiency in TIG welding techniques on stainless steel.
3. Experience in coded welding.
4. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
5. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
6. Certification in welding (preferred but not required).
7. Experience in coded welding and orbital welding.
