Are you a TIG Welder looking to take your skills into a high-quality, clean, and supportive engineering environment?

Impact Recruitment is working with a reputable manufacturing business in Daventry that produces precision components for specialist applications. They're looking for a reliable, detail-focused TIG Welder to join their team and work on a variety of bespoke and low-volume projects.

This role would suit someone with solid TIG welding experience, ideally working with stainless steel or other fine materials, and an interest in precision, quality-focused work.

Salary: Up to 18 an hour
Hours: 8am - 5pm, Monday to Friday
Location: Daventry

Job Duties:

• Perform TIG welding on a range of metal components to a high standard.
• Follow work orders and standard operating procedures.
• Assist in reviewing and improving jigs and fixtures.
• Prepare and clean components before welding.
• Conduct self-inspection on first and final-off pieces.
• Maintain tools and equipment and contribute to a clean, safe work area.
• Support new starters and contribute to ongoing process improvements.

Requirements:

• Experience in TIG welding (stainless steel or similar).
• Good hand skills, attention to detail, and pride in high-quality work.
• Comfortable following SOPs, technical drawings, and verbal instructions.
• A proactive, flexible attitude and team player mindset.
• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
