Job summary

Owen Daniels is seeking experienced welders for the Pools, Tanks, and Liners project at Hinkley Point C in the United Kingdom. The role involves TIG welding on stainless steel components to strict standards, with FCAW experience advantageous, on a rotating 10–11 hourshift schedule.

The position is site-based at Hinkley Point, Bridgewater, with a competitive hourly rate and overtime opportunity. Right to work in the UK is required, and BPSS clearance will be conducted for successful candidates.

Qualifications

• TIG welding experience on stainless steel components.
• BS EN ISO 9606-1 and BTS 3.01 standards certification.
• Knowledge of quality control and site safety practices.
• UK right to work with BPSS clearance planned for successful candidate; CCNSG Passport.

Responsibilities

• Carry out high-quality TIG welding on stainless steel components and structures to strict engineering standards.
• Perform welding in accordance with approved procedures; experience with FCAW advantageous.
• Interpret and work from detailed technical drawings, specifications, and welding procedures.
• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections to ensure weld quality and integrity.
• Maintain full compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times.
• Collaborate with supervisors and other trades to support efficient site operations and meet project deadlines.

Job description

We are looking for experienced Welders to join our client’s team on the Pools, Tanks, and Liners project at Hinkley Point C— one of the UK’s most significant infrastructure and energy developments.

Hourly rate of £29.34 + Overtime up to £52.82 per hour

10–11-hour shift (1 Month Days and 1 month Nights rotating )

Week 1: 10 days on, 4 days off

Week 2: 9 days on 5 days off

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

• Proven experience in TIG welding, specifically with stainless steel.

• Full right to work in the UK (BPSS clearance will be conducted for the successful candidate)
• CCNSG Passport
• Weld Test + a supplementary fillet weld.
