Job description

POSITION: TIG Welder

SHIFT:
Early Shift - 05:45 to 13:45 Monday to Thursday, 05:55 to 13:00 Friday.
Late Shift (Monday - Thursday 14:15 to 22:25, Friday 13:00 to 19:00 - plus overtime/weekend work available)

SALARY: £31,317 - £37,385 permanent

We require TIG Welders for our client near Abingdon in Oxfordshire. You will be required to carry out skilled TIG welding work including inspection, preparation and cutting, to fabricate, repair, maintain and install metal items, checking/testing.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Carry out skilled TIG welding work
2. Join thin metals of varying compositions by operating specialised hand and power tools.
3. Use tungsten inert gas welding to fuse metal parts together.
4. Weld in all positions and thicknesses.

About You:

1. Previous TIG Welding experience and experience in arc welding processes that use tungsten electrodes.
2. Ideally PCN2 coded but not essential.
3. Ability to read drawings.
