Job summary

Wright Engineering is seeking experienced Pipe Welders to join a project at Hinkley Point. Proficiency in TIG and MMA pipe welding is essential, with 3+ years' experience or an NVQ. The role is based on-site in Somerset, with a 10 days on / 4 off, followed by 9 on / 5 off, offering long weekends.

You will work in heavy industry environments, potentially nuclear-related, and SC clearance is required with support available to obtain it.

• Proficient in TIG and MMA pipe welding.
• Background in heavy industry, power stations, petrochemical, nuclear or oil and gas environments.

Rate: £29.31 per hour PAYE

Weld Tests: 2nd November

Shift Pattern: 10 days on / 4 days off, followed by 9 days on / 5 days off - giving you long weekends!
