Job description

Welder / Fabricators Required

Location - Telford, United Kingdom

Salary - £14-£14.50

Category - Fabrication

Position Type - Permanent, Full-Time

We are looking for candidates who have experience in MIG / TIG welding and have the capability to read drawings.

As a welder/fabricator, you would be expected to work on your own initiative, although full product training will be given.

This position may be suitable for someone with experience in the world of Aluminium and Steel fabrication.


Job Specific Duties
  • Setting up the components for the welding process as per specifications.
  • Determining the correct equipment to use and methods, based on the design material requirements.
  • Reading drawings and taking detailed measurements to plan the project layout.
  • Cutting and joining material.
  • Welding components.
  • Analysing engineering drawings.
  • Ensuring that company safety procedures are always followed.

Required Competences
  • Experience in MIG/ TIG welding aluminium and/or steel.
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to operate drill machines, bandsaws, cut off saws, and welding machines safely.

Role Specific Information
