Job description

Due to company growth, a great opportunity has been created for a Through-Life Support Coordinator; this could also suit a Project Coordinator who has good knowledge and understanding of technology. Due to working in the defence sector, we can only consider UK citizens as you will need to undergo a Security Clearance.

Having experience within a manufacturing, operational project delivery or Through-Life Support Environment with knowledge and practical experience of best practice Through Life Support Management techniques in a comparable role are preferred. Coming from Defence, Automotive or Aerospace industry would be desirable.

This will be part of a multi-disciplined, customer facing team (internal and external), you would also engage with the "shop floor", being able to talk along their terms of technology (mechanical, electrical/electronic etc.) will be highly beneficial.

The role will see you as a primary customer contact for assigned projects, ensuring achievement of customer requirements along with meeting business goals of schedule, cost and quality. Providing technical & commercial justification and securing agreement from internal and external stakeholders.

You would be handling spares & repairs from the global organisation, working with regular customers for new and ongoing orders as well as with any spot requests with new customers. Being able to put together quotes and some minor contract negotiations will be required.

PC literate in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Atlassian (JIRA, Confluence).

You will have excellent communication & documentation skills, able to write reports and create surveys for customers.
