We are looking to recruit 3 experienced support workers for three siblings, so that each can enjoy social and leisure activities in the local community with their own support worker.

The 9-year-old child has a multi-sensory impairment, severe learning disability, and social, emotional, speech, and language communication difficulties. His favourite activities include bowling and trampolining. He dislikes the cold, wind, or being wet.

The 10-year-old child has Autism, a severe learning disability, and sometimes struggles to regulate his emotional behaviour. He enjoys being a goalkeeper in football and also likes bowling and trampolining.

The 13-year-old child has Autism, a severe learning disability, and speech and language communication difficulties. His favourite activities are bowling, trampolining, football, and basketball.

Rate of Pay: £13.09 per hour

Hours Breakdown:

• 3 hours a week for each child during term time (39 weeks per year)
• 6 hours a week for each child during school holidays (13 weeks per year)

Times to be agreed with successful applicants and family.

Requirements:

• Social + Leisure activities support
• Training in Essential PA Guide, Safeguarding Adults/Children, Understanding challenging behaviour, Autism / Aspergers
• Transportation: Full UK driving license, Own personal car

Schedule, Pay & Hours:

Time: Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat, Sun

Shift types: Morning, Afternoon, Evening, Overnight Awake, Overnight Sleep

Pay rate: £13.09/hr

Weekly hours: 3.0

Weekly pay: £39

Monthly and annual figures to be calculated accordingly.
