Job summary

Control Risks is hiring a Researcher in London to join the Online Threat Intelligence (OTI) team. You will conduct OSINT/SOCMINT research to support a complex threat intelligence programme and deliver concise written analysis for bespoke assessments.

Essential qualifications include practical OSINT knowledge, strong writing, and the ability to follow leads to produce timely intelligence. Degree-level qualifications and OSINT credentials are preferred, with a collaborative, independent work style.

Qualifications

• Practical knowledge of open-source intelligence collection and threat analysis.
• Ability to prepare concise written reports with strong attention to detail.
• Experience in directing, collecting and analysing information to produce timely intelligence.

Responsibilities

• Gather information on individuals and groups posing threats via OSINT/SOCMINT.
• Research specific topics to contribute to bespoke threat assessments.
• Develop sources and capabilities to collect and analyse information for the team.
• Deliver clear written analysis to support high-quality bespoke assessments.
• Communicate to peer review intelligence outputs and enhance final deliverables.
