Job summary

CFC is seeking a Threat Intelligence Analyst to turn cyber incident data and external threat information into actionable intelligence. You will work within the Cyber Exposure & Risk Intelligence team to identify patterns, assess threats and translate findings for clients, brokers, underwriting teams and wider stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in cyber threat intelligence, incident analysis or related analytical role.
• Good understanding of the cyber threat landscape, including threat actors.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to extract insights from complex data.
• Excellent written communication for clear outputs across audiences.
• Confidence presenting findings and contributing to workshops and discussions.
• Strong critical thinking and curiosity, able to articulate own views.
• Collaborative, outcome-focused approach to producing actionable intelligence.
• Experience analysing trends or working with operational datasets helpful.
• STEM degree or equivalent; cyber certifications like GCTI/GCIA/CTIA/CISSP beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Analyse cyber incident data, telemetry and external threats to identify trends and risks.
• Turn complex data into clear, actionable intelligence for reports and presentations.
• Produce high-quality written intelligence for clients, brokers and internal stakeholders.
• Lead cyber insight sessions, client workshops and threat-modelling exercises.
• Contribute to recurring threat reporting and repeatable analytical outputs.
• Assess threat actors, campaigns, and TTPs linking tech activity to real-world risk.
• Shape analytical questions and priorities for the team.
• Contribute to external reports and thought-leadership content.
