Critical Third Party Supplier & Transition Operations Leader – UK, Ireland and South Africa

Ready to take the lead in shaping how transitions and third-party operations are delivered across Aon UK, Ireland and South Africa? If you bring senior operations experience from complex, global organisations and know how to drive supplier performance and transformation—this role is for you.

This hybrid role is based in our London office and offers flexibility to work both in-office and virtually.

What the day will look like

The Transitions Operations Leader will lead third-party oversight and transition initiatives across Aon UK, driving operational excellence and transformation. You’ll coordinate cross-functional teams, develop strategies, and ensure seamless implementation of transitions aligned with the Aon Business Services Operating Model.

This role includes managing relationships with strategic UK BPO partners, ensuring governance and performance against SLAs, and acting as a key escalation point. You’ll collaborate with business and operations stakeholders, Global Supplier Management, and Legal teams to support contractual and delivery objectives.

Transition Management

  • Lead and manage transition projects from start to finish.
  • Develop strategies for smooth transitions and measurable outcomes.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure timely delivery.
  • Track progress, mitigate risks, and ensure adherence to Aon methodologies.
  • Partner with Finance to monitor benefits realisation.

Third Party and Operations Leadership, Governance and Stakeholder Relationship Management

  • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and external partners.
  • Guide UK Operations leaders on third-party strategy and delivery.
  • Communicate clearly to align stakeholders and manage expectations.
  • Maintain governance and performance oversight of third-party suppliers, including Genpact.
  • Resolve escalations and support Centres of Excellence.
  • Drive automation and process improvements using the ABS service catalogue.
  • Ensure compliance with Aon’s Risk Management Framework, including risk assessments and ERM participation.
