Are you someone who wants to be part of a new team and help shape things? We have just the role for you! We are looking for a Third-Party Risk Manager to join our growing team.

At Aviva, we manage our risks proactively to identify and control threats and vulnerabilities that could impact the organization and our customers. This includes managing risks and ensuring resilience throughout our supply chain.

A bit about the job:

In this role, you will develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders across first, second, and third lines to oversee operational risk, deliver operational resilience, and third-party management practices in line with regulatory obligations. You will also provide oversight and challenge of the work of Aviva’s Procurement and Third-Party Risk teams, monitor high-risk suppliers, and ensure compliance with risk management frameworks.

You will provide effective oversight of third-party operational risk activities, engage in governance forums, oversee scenario testing related to operational resilience, and ensure issues and gaps are addressed.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Experience in operational risk management, including operational resilience
  • Experience working with third-party suppliers
  • Background in financial services
  • Ability to build credibility and manage relationships with stakeholders
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

What you’ll get for this role:

  • Salary circa £70,000, depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications
  • Bonus opportunity - 12% of annual salary, performance-dependent
