About the role:
Operational resilience and the use of Aviva’s supply chain are closely linked, as we utilize a network of third and fourth parties to support delivery to our customers, who expect services to be available when they want to use them, with a demand for an ‘always-on’ capability. To meet these expectations, supplier risk management and operational resilience are integral parts of Aviva’s strategy. You will develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders across different lines of defense to manage operational risk and deliver resilience and third-party management practices in line with regulatory obligations.
Your responsibilities will include providing oversight and challenge of third-party operational risk activities, engaging in governance forums, and overseeing scenario testing related to operational resilience risks in our third and fourth-party relationships. You will also review compliance with frameworks, manage risks effectively, and ensure remediation of issues and control gaps.
