Hastings Direct in Bexhill is seeking a Third Party Claims Advisor to join the TPPD team. You will handle liability queries, negotiate settlements, and manage a caseload with accuracy and empathy. The role combines office work with remote time, typically visiting the office once a week.

You will learn through a four-week in-person training period and perform duties in a supportive, customer-focused environment with ongoing development opportunities.

Join our vibrant Third Party Property Damage team as a Claims Advisor and be at the heart of resolving complex cases, supporting customers, and driving positive outcomes every day.**Working Hours/ Shift Patterns:** You will work 37.5 hours per week on a Monday to Friday 09:00 – 17:30.**Training:** The core training lasts for the first 4 weeks of your role and is completed in person. **Our approach to Hybrid Working:** With hybrid working, you have more flexibility, as you usually only have to visit our office once a week and work remotely for the rest of the time. You can always opt to work from the office more frequently if that suits you better. Analyse policy documentation to determine coverage and applicability. Evaluate liability and quantum to determine accurate settlement amounts. Manage a caseload of claims while ensuring adherence to company guidelines and regulatory standards. Collaborate with internal teams to gather insights and share knowledge for continuous improvement. Keep accurate and up-to-date records of claims activities using the company’s systems.
