Third Line IT Support Engineer
Location: Chatham, Kent
Salary: 45,000 per annum
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

We are currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled Third Line IT Support Engineer to join a well-established organisation based in Chatham. This is a key role within the IT team, responsible for resolving complex technical issues, supporting infrastructure projects, and ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems across the business.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide advanced technical support for hardware, software, and network issues escalated from 1st and 2nd line teams
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex incidents and service requests in a timely manner
  • Maintain and support server infrastructure, including Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualisation platforms
  • Monitor system performance and implement improvements where necessary
  • Assist with IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and deployments
  • Ensure documentation is up to date and aligned with internal standards
  • Collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors to resolve issues and deliver solutions
