We are looking for a Thermal Hydrolysis Plant (THP) Manager to join Thames Water at our Crawley Wastewater Sewage Treatment Works.
The process of Thermal Hydrolysis is used to increase the biodegradability of wastewater residuals, which boosts digester loading rates, increases biogas production and can then be used for producing green electricityas well as producing a biosolids product that can be used for land fertilisation. Thermal Hydrolysis is a dynamic process to manage and comes with seasonal challenges.
Its assets are essential in ensuring that the wastewater stream from the site remains healthy.
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to guide and develop a team of THP Technicians.
You will steer their performance and create a positive team culture, ensuring that employee engagement is consistently high.
You will operate out of the main site at Crawley, RH10 3NW, but will visit other sites, making a driving licence and car ownership essential.
