RJAH is seeking an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist to lead the general medicine therapy team. This part-time post requires Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday work to meet service need; hours may be discussed.

The role includes line management of the team, supervision, ESR, E-roster, sickness management and job planning. The post holder will carry a clinical caseload appropriate to HCPC registered OT or PT, and work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient

Formación

• Must hold HCPC registration in Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy.
• Experience leading a therapy team and coordinating service delivery.
• Ability to deploy, supervise and develop staff within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the organisation, co-ordination, delivery and evaluation of the therapy service.
• Deploy, supervise and develop all staff within the team.
• Maintain a clinical caseload to a high professional standard.
• Determine clinical diagnoses and treatment plans for complex patients.
• Encourage professional development and maintain cohesive service.
• Provide expert advice to patients and other health care professionals.
• Assist with forward planning and data collection for service development.
