Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care UK is seeking a Therapy Specialist Nurse to train NHS staff and provide hands-on clinical support across the London & South East region. The role sits within the Clinical and Patient Services team and involves delivering high-quality education on our therapy portfolio.

The ideal candidate is an experienced Renal Nurse or an RGN with NHS experience, capable of planning, delivering, and assessing clinical training, with willingness to travel and stay away from home as

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with key customers as identified in Territory Action Plans.

Therapy Specialist Nurse - In-Centre London & South East

This role sits within the Clinical and Patient Services team at Fresenius Medical Care UK. The department is dedicated to delivering high-quality clinical education and support across the company’s therapy portfolio, including dialysis treatments. As a Therapy Specialist Nurse, you’ll play a key role in training NHS staff and patients, providing hands‑on clinical support, and contributing to business growth through strong stakeholder relationships.

Are you an experienced Renal Nurse looking for a new challenge, or a dynamic Registered General Nurse looking to develop a career in the Industry?

We are looking for talented and highly motivated individuals to deliver exceptional training and education to our NHS customers, covering the region – London & South East. If you are an RGN with significant clinical and operational experience within the NHS and a proven track record of planning, delivering, and assessing clinical training, we would love to speak to you.

Experience of working in either Haemodialysis or Peritoneal Dialysis would be an advantage, but full training will be provided. Formal teaching and assessing qualification are preferred but not essential for the right candidate.

This role is full-time, 37.5hrs a week, working variable hours between 8am and 5pm Monday to Friday.

This is a field-based role where travel will be within the region of – London & South East.

Your Responsibilities:

• Be supporting the development of new business and the protection of existing business through the delivery of high-quality clinical training and education to end users of our products.
• Be involved in developing and delivering added value clinical training to groups and individuals within the NHS and providing support to nursing and medical staff on an on‑going basis.
• Need to have an awareness of competitor products, services and activity.
• Be able to build and maintain relationships with key customers as identified in Territory Action Plans.
• Work closely and pro‑actively with your Regional Business Manager to ensure all activities are aligned to the Territory Action Plan and overarching strategy for the business.

Your Profile:

• Registered Adult Nurse with current NMC registration
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with healthcare professionals
• Confident in delivering training and education to clinical teams
• Self‑motivated and able to work independently in a field‑based role
• Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned region, including regular overnight stays
• Full, valid UK driving licence is essential
