A community healthcare provider is seeking a Therapy Practitioner to deliver care and rehabilitation for neurological patients in their homes. This position involves working independently and as part of a team, providing therapy interventions and managing a caseload. A driver’s license is required due to geographical areas served. Flexible work arrangements are available, promoting a positive work-life balance and opportunities for professional development.
We have an exciting opportunity for Therapy Practitioners to join us in improving neurological patients' care and rehabilitation in their own homes. The Community Neurological Rehabilitation Teams, covering the South and West areas of West Sussex, are based in Worthing and Chichester. You will work alongside other rehabilitation technicians, either independently or as part of a team, to provide support and therapy interventions under the guidance of registered staff to individuals who have had a stroke or have a progressive neurological condition.
This role involves working with people with complex health and emotional needs, often following life-changing events impacting their families and carers. The primary focus will be assisting physiotherapists and occupational therapists, with opportunities to support other therapists in a multidisciplinary approach.
The role is interesting, challenging, and rewarding. The position is for 37.5 hours per week in the Worthing team and 30 hours per week in the Chichester team. Part-time and flexible working patterns are considered. A full UK driving license is required due to the geographic coverage of the teams.
