About the Role
More detail about the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and enthusiastic therapist to join our Community Rehabilitation service as a Band 7 Therapy Lead, working across Exmouth and Sidmouth Community Inpatient Units for hours per week.

This is an excellent opportunity to play a key leadership role across two community inpatient units, working within dynamic multidisciplinary teams committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred rehabilitation. Our focus is on promoting independence, maximising recovery and supporting patients to return home safely following a hospital admission. Working closely with the Clinical Nurse Managers and wider multidisciplinary teams across both units, you will provide clinical and operational leadership to the therapy service. You will lead and support therapy staff, manage a complex clinical caseload and contribute to the ongoing development of rehabilitation services across Exmouth and Sidmouth.

Through mentoring, coaching, supervision and teaching, you will support the development of therapy staff and help foster a positive and proactive rehabilitation culture across both units. You will also play an important role in ensuring therapy is fully integrated into multidisciplinary discharge planning, helping patients achieve their rehabilitation goals and supporting timely and effective patient flow.

We are looking for an experienced therapist with a specialist interest in community bed-based rehabilitation and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care. You will be passionate about improving patient outcomes, promoting independence and supporting effective multidisciplinary working and discharge planning.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced therapist looking to further develop their clinical and leadership skills, whilst making a meaningful contribution to the continued development of community rehabilitation services across Exmouth and Sidmouth.

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday hours per week.
