An innovative healthcare organization seeks a part-time Therapy Assistant in St. Neots to provide rehabilitation support for patients with neurological conditions. The role involves working closely under qualified therapists to deliver therapeutic interventions and contribute to patient care and discharge planning. Candidates should have NVQ Level 3 in healthcare and a passion for helping individuals enhance their independence and quality of life.
We are looking to recruita part time (20 hours per week) Therapy Assistant with experience in Rehabilitation to work closely with thecurrent Therapy Assistants team and wider MDT of Physiotherapists, OccupationalTherapists, Speech and Language Therapists and Clinical Psychologist. This new job role will commence from October 2025. The postholder will be working in a dynamic environment providing high qualitytreatment programmes under the supervision of the wider therapy team toindividuals with a range of neurological conditions. You will have theopportunity to work closely with your patients and utilise an array ofresources and up to date technology and run therapy group sessions andactivities. There will be opportunities to run/attend regular training, receiveregular supervision and Continuing Professional Development is activelyencouraged. We hold weekly therapy team meetings and in service training.
As a TherapyAssistant at Marbrook you will be a key member of the MDT providingrehabilitation to our group of residents. You will be carrying out treatmentinterventions as instructed by therapists, this may include exercise sessions,walking practice, supporting someone with washing and dressing, and aiding withtheir communication.
You will alsosupport the team with discharge planning, this can include liaison with outsideagencies such as social services, equipment services and third sectororganisations such as Stroke association or Headway.

The Marbrook Centre is a specialistNeurological Rehabilitation provider in St Neots, Cambridgeshire. The centreprovides intensive rehabilitation for people post stroke, ABI, spinal injuryand many other conditions.

Purpose of role:
The post holder will be responsible for implementing a wide array of therapy interventions under the guidance and direction of the relevant therapists. The post holder will be expected to work closely with the rehab coaches and support workers to implement therapy plans and work jointly on residents goals and objectives.
The post holder will be expected to take part in regular in service training and provide advice and training to other team members and residents and family as directed by the therapy team.
