Overview

Are you a qualified Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist? We are offering a wonderful opportunity to provide maternity cover in our Foundation as a full-time (35 hours per week) temporary Therapy & Quality Liaison (qualified) with a salary of £41,000 per annum, pro rata.

Are you passionate about ensuring that our delivery of care to our disabled residents is of the highest quality? Are you committed to leading and supporting all people who use our service to have the equipment, and any additional kit required to ensure the utmost quality of life? Reporting to the Strode Park House Registered Manager, you will provide an important liaison service to external therapy provision for the nursing home.

This role is being offered for 9 months, with a possibility of up to a year.

Main duties of the job

As Therapy and Quality Liaison (qualified) you will also:

  • Be responsible for the liaison of referrals to community therapy teams, where appropriate, acting as a lead point of contact
  • Support (alongside Deputy Managers/Lead Nurses) to view, co-ordinate and if appropriate, participate in assessments for admissions and discharges
  • Liaise and link with external agencies where people use our services are referred to or engaged with
  • Work alongside the wider team to adapt and support our current activity timetable with innovation and creativity
