Qualifications

  • Experience working in addiction, mental health, or a related field is desirable.
  • Knowledge of the 12-Step recovery model preferred.
  • Registration with a professional body (BACP/UKCP/NCS).

Responsibilities

  • Deliver individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, and the 12-Step model.
  • Develop and review personalised treatment plans.
  • Provide support and guidance to clients throughout their recovery journey.
  • Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records.

What you'll do:

Deliver individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, and the 12-Step model

Develop and review personalised treatment plans

Provide support and guidance to clients throughout their recovery journey

Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team including nurses, support workers, and other therapists

Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records

What we're looking for:

A qualified Therapist, Counsellor or Psychotherapist (e.g., Level 4 Diploma or above in Counselling)

Experience working in addiction, mental health, or a related field is desirable

Knowledge of the 12-Step recovery model (preferred)

Excellent communication, empathy and interpersonal skills

Registration with a professional body (BACP/UKCP/NCS)
