About Us:

We’re Self Space, a contemporary mental health service offering a good conversation with a qualified person. We support individuals and some of the most progressive, industry-leading global companies to reach their potential.

After launching the world’s first on-demand mental health service right on the High Street in Shoreditch, London — we’re looking for brilliant therapists to join our mission to launch a Self Space on every High Street, in every city, across the UK.

We are opening up accessible therapy with no waiting lists, no long faffy assessments — just good therapy there and then.

Our Values matter a lot to us:

  • Clients First: We put clients at the centre of everything we do.
  • Radical Compassion: We lead with empathy and kindness.
  • Name it: We say what needs saying, even when it’s tough.
  • Keep the edge: Be bold. Disrupt and challenge the norm, but with love.
  • Look after you: We take care of ourselves seriously as someone we love.
  • Grit: Perseverance and passion. We know what it takes to shift culture.
  • Our values shape how we work, how we lead, and what we desire from anyone who joins us. If this sounds like the kind of environment where you'd thrive, we’d love to meet you.

Who we’re looking for:

We are seeking a Psychological Therapist / Psychotherapist / Counsellor / Clinical Psychologist.

We are especially interested on those with psychosexual training and experience and those who are able to work weekends.

Role Outline

  • To provide the highest standard of in-person short and long-term interventions.
  • To be digitally competent and administratively rigorous across note keeping, and diary management
  • To be in regular supervision (external) and a full time Clinical team with extensive clinical leadership experience available daily to supervise and provide crisis support on risk issues and safeguarding concerns
  • To have the capacity to work autonomously within BACP, HCPC, UKCP and other recognised ethical frameworks
  • Liaising with other professionals to ensure safety and wellbeing of our clients
  • Supporting us to continuously improve the quality of our service and safeguarding high standards of care by creating an environment in which excellence in mental health support will flourish
