Job summary

Meadows Care is seeking a Residential Support Worker in Rochdale to provide therapeutic care for children aged 6-18 with trauma backgrounds. You will act as a positive role model and support their daily routines within a caring home environment.

You will participate in day-to-day home duties and ensure accurate documentation, while helping children engage in social, educational activities and holidays, with a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS check funded by Meadows Care.
• Full UK driving license required.
• Must be aged over 21 and eligible to live and work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic care for children aged 6-18 in line with care plans.
• Act as a positive role model to support safe, happy development.
• Manage day-to-day home operations and accurate documentation.
• Support children with social and educational activities, including family contact and education.
• Create a supportive, enriching home environment and collaborate with the team.
