We are now looking for an experienced Therapeutic Recovery Worker to join our brand new Trauma Responsive Women’s Therapeutic Community Residence on a full-time, permanent basis.

This role will be working in awomen’s-only residential servicespecialising in providing safe therapeutic environments for those who have experienced multiple disadvantage and those who have experienced past trauma. Therefore, there is anOperational Requirement for this role to be fulfilled by a female(determined compliant under ACAS guidelines for recruiting applicants with a protected characteristic to do a certain job).

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced support worker, or someone looking to move into this truly rewarding field of work, to join our organisation in a Therapeutic Recovery Worker role.

The Role

- Effectively manage asmall caseload of less than five women, conducting assessments and developing personalised care plans that cater to their unique needs
- Embrace our“community as method” modelto work not only with users of our services but their families and wider surrounding networks to ensure that everyone is equipped with the tools, knowledge and approaches, all essential to a long-term recovery
- Delivertherapeutic groups, activities, and specialised interventionsas per the Therapeutic Community manual and service needs
- Champion an environment and a culture that, as well as being safe and compliant, trulyfosters compassion and development
- Manage and co-ordinate the care process for service users, fromadmission to discharge planning

Please note that you will work on a 4 week rolling rota involving evening, night and weekend work.

About You

To be considered as our Therapeutic Support Worker, you will need:

- Experience of working with individuals withcomplex and unique needs
- Prior involvement in collaborating with families and individuals in the realm of substance use or relevant domains
- Aptitude for creative thinking and adaptability to accommodate the evolving requirements of the service
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate seamlessly with multiple agencies, while upholding the service's esteemed standing
- Good working knowledge of adult protection and safeguarding, as the role entails working with vulnerable women in a residential environment
