Job summary

University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust is offering an apprenticeship opportunity as a Radiographic Apprentice within a large, supportive team. You will undertake supervised imaging and admin duties while studying for the Diagnostic Radiography Degree Apprenticeship.

Start date is confirmed once the apprenticeship provider is allocated; completion will qualify you for HCPC registration as a radiographer.

Qualifications

• A-Levels or BTEC National (in a relevant subject) 120 points.
• GCSE Maths and English (at least grade C or 5) or equivalent qualification.

Responsibilities

• Assist radiographers and radiologists with imaging procedures under supervision.
• Undertake imaging work following departmental protocols and support admin tasks (RIS booking, electronic requests).
• Learn imaging procedures and progress toward the Diagnostic Radiographer Degree Apprenticeship with supervision.
