Our department is located in the vibrant city of Bristol, offering a lively lifestyle with numerous entertainment and leisure facilities.
You will have the chance to rotate through a large department, gaining experience on 5 Elekta Versa HD linear accelerators. Our pre-treatment area features 2 dedicated CT scanners with virtual simulation, ultrasound, and MRI facilities.
We provide highly specialised treatments, including Clarity Ultrasound, Gamma Knife Stereotactic Radiotherapy, Paediatric Radiotherapy, and SABR for multiple sites. Our HDR brachytherapy service treats gynaecological, prostate, oesophageal, and skin lesions. Additionally, our molecular radiotherapy department is expanding with new treatments.
We welcome applications from both qualified and newly qualified radiographers. Students graduating in summer 2025 are encouraged to apply.
For newly qualified staff, we offer a preceptorship programme to support your transition from student to professional. All staff are involved in service development, and we promote ongoing professional development, including postgraduate learning opportunities to enhance patient-centred care.
As a Band 5 radiographer, your responsibilities will include ensuring accurate radiotherapy treatment delivery and providing appropriate patient care. You will work collaboratively with Band 6 and Band 7 radiographers.
