Job Overview
We are looking for experts in supporting young people, especially children with neurodiversity, to engage in a 20 week assessment programme, within our community based education service. As a Therapeutic Integration Practitioner, you will work with a multi-disciplinary team to compile an assessment, outlining interventions and recommendations to support their learning. You will hold a small caseload of young people across a section of London who are new to the service, supporting their transition to working with a specialist therapeutic learning mentor. Pupils will take up bespoke learning programmes with intensive interventions for academic, social and emotional development.
On a weekly basis you will attend the Therapy & Life Skills Hub in East London for regular training and development sessions on a Friday.

Essential Requirements To Be Successful In The Role Are
- Trauma Informed practice, with substantial experience of supporting young people who are unable to access traditional classroom-based education, including those with neurodiversity, challenging behaviours, and trauma-related mental health needs.
- Resilient, committed, and a hard worker – able to keep going in the face of adversity, never giving up and act as a positive behaviour role model.
- Understanding of the importance of a comprehensive and holistic approach to treatment including the social model, classroom model and creating a therapeutic environment.
- Experience of working within a multi-agency team including YOT, CAMHS, Social Workers and Teachers.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to develop constructive and appropriate relationships with all stakeholders, with the capacity to employ de-escalation techniques.
