Job summary

Beechwood Grove in Eastbourne is seeking a skilled Chef to support the Head Chef in a fast-paced kitchen, delivering nutritious and tasty meals to residents.

You should have at least two years catering experience, strong communication, knowledge of food regulations and therapeutic diets, and a passion for high standards. The role is on-site, with a zero-hours bank contract and day shifts.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years catering experience.
• Knowledge of relevant food regulations and standards.
• Experience delivering a high-quality catering service.
• Ability to follow a structured menu while bringing creativity to dishes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an excellent food service at all times.
• Follow care and support plans to meet residents' nutritional needs.
• Prepare nutritious snacks as requested by the General Manager.
• Ensure all prepared food is high-quality, flavoursome, and beautifully presented.
• Collaborate with the Head Chef to maintain smooth kitchen operations.
• Manage stock control, including ordering and replenishment.
