Job description

About the Role

  1. Support children with complex emotional and behavioural needs
  2. Help young people manage and understand their emotions and actions
  3. Work collaboratively within a group-living and therapeutic environment
  4. Implement care and behaviour plans, while creating a safe and nurturing home
  5. Provide daily structure, consistency, and meaningful routines
  6. Act as a positive role model, building trust and emotional connection

Training & Development

  1. Fully paid 2-week orientation and 6-month induction
  2. Funded Level 3 Diploma in Therapeutic Childcare & Education
  3. Ongoing training and professional development (worth £3,000-£3,500)
  4. Therapeutic practice training, leadership development, reflective supervision
  5. Continuous support from in-house and external consultants

Pay & Progression

  1. Starting pay from £12.21 + per hour
  2. Up to £2,500 extra through sleep-ins/bank holidays
  3. Opportunities for bonus payments and additional duties
  4. Company-paid sick leave and healthcare scheme

Who We're Looking For

  1. Individuals with some or regular experience in residential care, education, or youth work
  2. Compassionate and emotionally resilient people with a genuine interest in therapeutic care
  3. Willingness to learn and embrace trauma-informed, therapeutic approaches
  4. Ability to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins
