Oakwood House is a specialist residential children’s home providing care, treatment, and education for up to 4 children aged 11 to 16 years.

Childhood First is a teaching organization; we support our team’s learning through opportunities for further psychotherapeutic and management training, leading to various academic and professional qualifications.

Experience working with children therapeutically or in a residential setting is desirable but not essential, as we support and train suitable candidates without experience. The role involves safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, working as part of a team to develop safe, supportive, and nurturing relationships, and collaborating with external stakeholders to meet the children’s needs.
