Job Description

The Theoretical Knowledge Instructor is responsible for delivering high-quality theoretical knowledge instruction in accordance with Skyborne Airline Academy standards and applicable aviation authority regulations. They ensure that each trainee meets course standards, training requirements, and objectives. The instructor shall lead by example, demonstrating professionalism, a strong attitude, and thorough knowledge of their subjects.

• Delivering theoretical knowledge instruction to trainees.
• Monitoring trainee progress in theoretical knowledge.
• Preparing and maintaining training records.
• Keeping theoretical knowledge up-to-date with current learning objectives.
• Conducting administrative duties supporting the role of the instructor.
• Ensuring policies and processes are followed.
• Promoting policies, procedures, and standards throughout the school.
• Ensuring training documentation, manuals, and courseware are fit for purpose and meet business requirements.
• Delivering training to meet Skyborne Airline Academy’s goal of being the safest, highest quality, and customer-focused training provider.

Qualifications

• Extensive ATPL theoretical knowledge instruction experience (essential).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to motivate trainees and liaise with internal and external contacts at all levels.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Adaptability to change.
• Strong customer orientation, even under adverse circumstances.

Additional Information

We are recruiting for both full-time and part-time roles.

Salary: £46,786 - £55,697 FTE (depending on experience).
