Job summary

HCA Healthcare UK is seeking a qualified Surgical Care Practitioner for the London Bridge Hospital Theatre team. The role focuses on delivering high-quality care across the surgical pathway, supporting surgeons and MDT colleagues before, during and after procedures.

You will deliver preoperative and postoperative care, perform agreed clinical interventions under supervision, and contribute to patient safety and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Qualified Surgical Care Practitioner.
• MSc, PG Cert or PG Dip in Surgical Care Practice.
• Current registration as a healthcare professional such as Nurse or ODP.
• Experience working as a qualified Surgical Care Practitioner.
• A complete and up-to-date clinical logbook.

Responsibilities

• Act as a Surgical Care Practitioner within HCA Healthcare UK, delivering high quality care across the surgical pathway.
• Support surgeons and healthcare professionals before, during and after surgical procedures.
• Deliver preoperative and postoperative care, ensuring safe and effective clinical outcomes.
• Undertake agreed clinical and surgical interventions under the supervision of a senior surgeon.
• Work as an integral member of the multidisciplinary surgical team, contributing to high standards of patient care.
