Wye Valley NHS Trust is seeking a Band 6 Lead Pharmacy Technician for Theatres & Elective General Surgery. You will work with senior pharmacists to provide a ward-based clinical pharmacy service, including medicines reconciliation, monitoring, and counselling.

Lead junior staff and drive improvements within a multidisciplinary team. Registration with GPhC, NVQ3/BTEC in Pharmaceutical Science, and an Accuracy Checking Technician qualification are required, along with substantial ward-based

Qualifications

• NVQ3 Pharmacy Technician/Registered with the GPhC
• Accuracy Checking Technician Qualification
• Accredited MM/Medicines Optimisation qualification or willingness to complete
• Level 4 Clinical Diploma or willingness to complete

Responsabilités

• Provide ward-based clinical pharmacy service for the Surgical Division, including medicines reconciliation and monitoring
• Carry out therapeutic drug monitoring and interventions within scope of practice
• Lead line management of junior staff and contribute to service performance and improvements
• Assist with day-to-day running and integration into the multi-disciplinary team and rota duties
