General Scrub Lead Nurse/ODP - Full time

We are currently expanding our theatre department and have exciting opportunities for General Scrub Lead Nurse/ODP to join and be part of our exciting journey of growth. Oaks Hospital has recently expanded and there are plans to develop services further.

Oaks Hospital is part of Ramsay Health Care UK, one of the leading providers of NHS and private patient services in England. Oaks Hospital is a 58 bed facility including 18 ambulatory bays, 4 laminar flow theatres and an Endoscopy Theatre.

The role

You will be reporting to the Theatre Manager and responsible for leading and managing the General Scrub team.

What you will bring with you as a Scrub/ODP Lead:

  • Current NMC/HCPC registration
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently
  • A warm, considerate and empathetic character
  • Surgical First Assist Qualification (SFA) – Desirable but not essential
  • General Scrub experience at a senior level
  • Being multiskilled is desirable but not essential
  • Laser certificated or experience is desirable but not essential
