Theatre Team (ENT + Urology) for Evening & Weekend Sessions, Central Scotland

Head Medical has been asked to support one of our well-established NHS clients with additional evening and weekend lists. They are looking for a full team; Scrub, Anaesthetics, Recovery, HCSW, and Day Surgery. We have an excellent group of staff in place, but with the additional requirements we are looking to strengthen our workforce.

About the Role

We are looking for regular mid-week evening cover. Sessions start at 17:30 for scrub/anaesthetics/HCSW. Recovery people start at 17:45. The Day Surgery shift is from 16:30 - 22:00

We are also looking for Saturday teams 08:00 - 18:00 for Scrub/Anaes/Recovery/HCSW. The Day Surgery shift is 08:00 - 20:00.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing high-quality perioperative nursing care for urology patients for ENT or Urology procedures.
• Assisting and supporting surgical teams in a busy hospital environment.
• Adhering to infection prevention and control standards.
• Ensuring compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
• Maintaining accurate documentation and patient records.

Candidate Requirements

• Registered Nurse or ODP with valid UK NMC or HCPC registration
• Two years' post-graduate experience
• Eligible to work in the UK
• Availability to work evening and weekend shifts.
