Job summary

Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking theatre support workers to help ensure smooth operating theatres and high standards of patient care in Preston. The role includes rotation of shifts, including nights and weekends, and being part of the circulating team to support theatre staff.

You will contribute to a clean, safe environment and participate in moving instruments, promoting our Trust values, and engaging in in-house training within a large, supportive hospital trust.

Responsibilities

• Support the theatre team in delivering high standards of patient care.
• Assist the circulating team and scrub practitioner during surgeries.
• Assist with the movement of clean and dirty instruments within the theatre complex.
• Demonstrate flexibility and effective communication, aligning with Trust values.
